Crying "Fuck Islamism!" and "Free Amina!" six activists from women's rights group Femen braved freezing temperatures Thursday to protest sans shirts in front of a mosque in Berlin. The protest in the German capital comes on worldwide "topless jihad day" organized as a gesture of support for 19-year-old Tunisian woman Amina Tyler, who was threatened with death by stoning when she posted topless images of herself making a lewd gesture with the words "Fuck your morals" written across her chest on the Femen-Tunisia Facebook page.

Oleksandra Shevchenko, a founder of the group known as Alexandria, says: "We are free, we are naked, it's our right, it's our body, it's our rules, and nobody can use religion or some other holy things to abuse women, to oppress them and we will fight against them and our boobs will be stronger than their stones."

Tunisian newspaper Kapitalis quoted Salafist preacher Almi Adel, also head of the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice, as saying the "severity of her crimes" demanded being stoned to death. Under Tunisian law, Tyler could face two years in prison and a fine between €48.60 and €486 (100 to 1,000 Tunisian dinars) if she is found to have posted the images while inside the country.
